third floor of a charming historic home that has been completely renovated with exceptional taste. It combines old-world character with all the modern comforts of home. The location is outstanding, just steps from one of Amboise’s main pedestrian streets and steps away from the Château Royal, restaurants, cafés, and wonderful shops. Marianne was delightful to work with, very responsive, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay.
Very little to dislike. The apartment is on the third floor, so guests should be comfortable with stairs, but the charm, views, and location make it well worth it

What a find! La Valette is in a perfect location, looking out onto the town square. The apartment has been decorated beautifully. It’s lovely and spacious with all required amenities. We loved it!
We loved it all. For those that are particularly noise sensitive it is right above the town square but the windows are solid so not an issue for us when closed at night

The location was excellent. The decoration and furnishing was stylish and extremely attractive.
The wc was in a tiny space so it was difficult to stand without bumping your head; there was no room for a handwash basin.
The wash basin in the bathroom was ridiculously tiny. It was impossible to shave, wash/rinse your face without getting water on the floor. The three flights of stairs to reach the apartment were an added difficulty for a couple like us in our eighties though they didn't bother our son and his wife.
