Period detail, spacious rooms; well but not over-furnished; more fridges and freezers than you could expect, lovely garden. Friendly gardener (met on leaving).
Beds. not the most comfortable, thin soft-spring mattresses. Kitchen small and limited cupboard space. Parking rather tight. Local pub, The Wagon, recently closed down - hadn’t expected that!

The cottage was very comfortable and cosy. The kitchen was very well kitted out with the added bonus of fresh herbs to use. The garden was very pretty with garden chairs and a bench. A bottle of wine to enjoy was a very nice touch.

Location is central to where we wanted to be, Nottingham, Southwell, Mansfield. Good facilities, nice village. The garden is lovely and the cottage is warm, cosy and comfortable.
The upstairs shower is difficult to get the temperature right, it keeps running way too hot. The downstairs shower room could do with a lock of some sort on the door .
