Canary Wharf Riverside Flat - Balcony - DLR 2 mins - Fast WiFi - Sleeps 3

Extremely helpful host who responded very promptly when we messaged them. The apartment was clean, the bed was comfortable and the toiletries and complimentary snacks were a nice addition. The kitchen was fully stocked with cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, pots and pans. The dishwasher was a nice addition but found it easier to wash up by hand (just bare in mind you'll need to bring your own sponge and washing up liquid). The WiFi and TV were great and there was even a couple of cards games if you have some time to kill. The balcony was really nice but could do with some furniture, even a couple of chairs would have made a big difference. Overall had a really nice stay here and would definitely stay again 😊

We did have a few issues during our stay but want to preface by saying the host was very kind and tried to help in any way they could. So firstly when we went into the bedroom we discovered one half of the blinds had broken and fell down. A replacement curtain was put up but that also fell down! Thankfully we aren't too sensitive to light and were able to sleep fine. Another issue we had was due three of us staying, which we had made the host aware of. We were told a pillow and duvet was stored under the sofa bed but discovered only a duvet was there. By the next day we were provided with two brand new pillows so was very pleased with that. However, we also noticed we only had two bath towels but when we requested another they weren't able to provide one which meant I had to share mine. Not a huge problem but might be worth bringing your own if you're staying with an extra guest. The parking was also a bit stressful as the roads outside the flat are residents only Mon-Fri 8:30am-17:30pm. Over the weekend we were able to park on the road but as we were staying till Monday we had to find a 24 hr car park and when we did it was a 10 minute walk away. The host tried to help as best they could, but if we had better knowledge of the area we could find a better solution. However, these things were pretty minor and didn't overshadow the good aspects of this stay.

Popped into london with family for a weekend trip. The property was clean and comfortable. Host was easy to communicate with and the location was close to buses into Central london - perfect for our quick trip to visit family and sightseeing.

It is difficult to get to and the neighborhood doesn't have much to offer. No hotel rental staff on site. You have to pick up your key from a lock box that is attached to a convenience store that is a 15-20 minute walk from the actual rental. I'm not sure about the neighborhood. To top it off, I had to return the key to the same lock box or pay an extra 30 pounds to leave it in the room, which required the key to lock the door???? An inconvenient time wasting situation. And they require a higher security deposit than other hotels and release the hold later than other hotels I've used.
