La maison au calme

De rust en de nabijheid van enkele restaurants en ... natuurlijk de zee. De vriendelijke persoonlijke ontvangst van de eigenares ! Moderne en up-to-date toestellen in deze gite. Perfekt ! Goede en snelle verwarming bij eens 'n kille dag.

Wij verbleven er 11 nachten. Misschien iets meer vuilnis zakken voor het sorteren van de afval voorzien ? Waarschijnlijk slechts 'n vergetelheid, daar de meeste boekingen voor minder nachten waren in het verleden. Dus zeker geen kritiek ! Al de rest was aanwezig !

tout, l'environnement, le calme et le repos qu'offrent cette petite maison, la disponibilité de l'hôte. La maison est aussi très bien équipée.

tout était parfait, l'espace est certes petit mais tout était à nos attentes.

Liked the private, secure parking. Liked the area, very quiet. Short walk down to restaurants but very steep climb back. Great shutters. Clean and tidy inside. Plenty of electric points.2 sunbeds and table and umbrella. Plenty of hot water. Well equipped, cooking utensils, washing machine, dishwasher (which we only discovered on day 2 because it’s hidden on a shelf in the kitchen area).

The bedsheets were awful, particularly the base sheet. It was a stretched and bobbly nylon, absolutely awful and I hated sleeping on it. I have provided a photo of it 😖 Only 2 hand towels provided so one towel each, no other towel which is inexplicable! Inadequate supply of toilet rolls, 2 partial rolls provided which wouldn’t add up to one complete roll. No toiletries but I didn’t expect any. No consumables at all, no oil, salt, pepper, sugar, tea, coffee - nothing so you need to go straight out and buy basics. The property is described as beach front and it isn’t, I couldn’t see the beach! The outside was not pleasant to sit out in. The shower was fine for me but I’m only 158cm, my husband is 173cm and his head wouldn’t go under shower head because the ceiling slopes away so a tall person would be uncomfortable. Most people reading this next point won’t be bothered by it but we weren’t keen on being encased in plastic. The walls of bedroom and living room were cleverly done out in white pvc boarding, very easy to clean but who wants to live in a plastic box? The walls are actually flexible! From a mobility perspective, the steps at the front are quite deep and no handrail so I needed some assistance to climb them. There are steps down to the kitchen and bathroom but quite manageable.
