    Our stay in Yuzawa was a great experience! The family room was just enough for our family—comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. It’s an excellent place for anyone looking to go snowboarding or skiing. Yuzawa itself is a wonderful destination, especially if you’re after a relaxing winter getaway with beautiful snowy scenery. Definitely a good choice for families and winter sports lovers!

    They don’t have parking so you’ll need to go to park at the station parking lot. Steep slope to the entrance for drop off and it’s dangerous especially with snow and ice. Very basic facilities, no elevators, no bath inside the room, not sure if it’s worth for the money. They have free washing machine and paid dryer, which was nice. But dryer is electric so clothes were damp after one hour of drying. It was the cheapest option when we looked for the last minute booking so it was ok but I wouldn’t go back to this place!

    The stay at Yuzawa House 2 Room 201 on 27 December 2025 was very disappointing because the room heating did not work and no help was available overnight. The air conditioner never produced warm air, even though all the steps in the instruction guide were followed, leaving the room freezing in the middle of the cold snowy night. No staff were available between 21:00 and 07:00, so when management was contacted around midnight, there was no immediate assistance, and there was still no reply by 10:00 the next morning. As a result of spending the night in the cold room, my son woke up with a fever/cold, which made the stay feel unsafe and unacceptable for a family.
