THE RIHLA HUNZA

Rihla is the perfect way to unwind after exploring the surrounding mountains. The road to get there definitely requires a skilled driver, and because of the effort required, we stayed in the hotel for the duration of our stay (2 nights), but we really didn't want to leave anyway. We appreciated the attention to detail (such as hookah on the patio, dried flower arrangements through the property, and good background music), the delicious food, good service and clean rooms. This is a beautiful/new property, and I really hope that the managers are able to maintain this standard as time goes on through proper cleaning and maintenance. Thanks for a wonderful stay, and for helping us recharge for the rest of our trip.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at this hotel during my recent trip to Hunza, and it exceeded all expectations! The location is breathtaking — perched on a peaceful hill with panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, lush valleys, and the shimmering Hunza River below. Waking up to that view every morning felt like a dream. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and beautifully designed with traditional touches that made the stay feel authentic yet luxurious. Warm wooden interiors, clean modern bathrooms, and large windows brought the outdoors right into our room. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the hospitality. The staff went above and beyond in every way — from helping us plan our day trips to serving hot local meals with a smile. Their knowledge of the area and genuine warmth made us feel right at home. The food deserves a special mention — everything from local Hunza cuisine to international options was delicious and fresh. Sitting on the terrace with a cup of Hunza herbal tea, watching the sun dip behind the mountains, was a moment I’ll never forget. This hotel is a perfect blend of comfort, culture, and nature. Whether you’re a solo traveler, couple, or family, I can’t recommend it enough. Can’t wait to come back again!

The views from rihla hunza are spectacular though reaching the hotel is a bit difficult due to its elevation. Rooms and hotel are clean, and food was good too. However, it is not suitable for the elderly or people with mobility issues since it has 2 to 3 stories of stairs. We also felt some breathing issues initially due to the hotel's altitude, which wasn't an issue for us, but can be for people with ashtma.

We loved our stay here, everything from the views to the staff’s hospitality was top notch. I was beyond impressed by how everyone was making sure we had a lovely stay. The views are breathtaking, this place is definitely worth staying.
