Although the place is smaller than I expected the cleanliness and comfort checked all the boxes. As a foreigner the man at the front desk assisted me in checking out and convinced me not to rush knowing I had to secure my belongings and help my son still in the room. The extra care they place with their customers is one of a kind. Thank u for helping me make sure I got in my taxi safely.

I stayed here with a friend for 7 days and 6 nights. At first, carrying our luggage was a bit challenging because there’s an uphill path to the accommodation, so it might be inconvenient if you have large suitcases. However, it’s very convenient for public transport—the subway station is only about a 4-minute walk away.
If you want snacks or need to reload your T-money card, there’s a convenience store just a 2-minute walk downstairs, which is very convenient.
The front desk service was excellent! Every time we went out, we would ask for bottled water, and they always kindly gave it to us without any hesitation (haha). They also helped us microwave our food. The staff who checked us in was very friendly—since I had a special request, he even let us choose between two rooms to see which one we preferred.
Also, our flight was at 8 AM, and since there were no trains available in the middle of the night, we had to take a taxi. Uber was quite expensive, and we were worried about being overcharged. When we were about to check out, the staff actually asked if we had arranged transportation and kindly helped us call a taxi. We are truly very grateful for that!

We were a couple staying for a short week, and our stay was so nice! The staff was so nice and we received complementary water whenever we asked for it. Sometimes they even restocked during the day. Room was very clean. 10/10 stay

Hotel Millhaus Shinchon creates a boutique illusion that doesn’t match reality. The rooms are much smaller than pictured, and the walls reflect a lack of maintenance with visible marks and stains. The 5 PM check-in is much later than the standard 3 PM used by most Korean hotels, and the property is tucked away in an alley.
The value proposition is poor: for a premium price, they skimp on basics like comfortable slippers and modern bidet/washlet toilets, providing only cheap sachet toiletries. This could be a great stay with a professional paint job, upgraded amenities, and a more realistic price point. Currently, there are much better and better-kept options near Yonsei for this budget.
