    Our stay at Mayven was an amazing experience, would recommend to travellers who are looking for great value for money. Value: We stayed at Mayven, while the rest of our group stayed in a bigger brand hotel (a big brand hotel in Hongdae). Comparing our room with theirs, we got a much larger room (with foyer, luggage storage area, tatami covered living room, large bathroom with tub), for probably a fraction of the price (maybe 40% less). The room was as clean and the interiors were at par with the bigger brand. Location: The Mayven Hotel has a very strong location. While there is not much of a view, the proximity to things that matter more than makes up for it. Across the street is a CU convenience store, where I got my breakfast and eseentials. A few steps away is a row of several restaurants (a hotpot place, Salady, Starbucks, Chinese takeout, etc). On the other side, the road that leads to Yonsei is accessible, making it close to many restaurants, an Olive Young branch and several clothes shops. There is also the Sinchon Mart nearby, were you can get various snacks and gifts. A few steps away, at the end of this street, is the Sinchon Station. All in all, everything you need is within a 5 minute walk. Inside the Hotel: The hotel has the comforts a tourist needs for a pleasurable stay. In the lobby (which was always clean and always smelled good), refrigerated bottled water is free to take, a microwave is accessible, and there is a free coffee machine that prepares Expresso drinks. A laundry room is also accessible. My morning routine consisted of heating a gimbap from CU, while getting an Americano from the machine and packing a few bottles of water for my daily use. The staff is friendly and helpful. Also, upon checking out, you can avail immediately of the tax refund in cash:) Overall, I would highly recommend this place. When I go back to Seoul, I will go back here.

    We needed a hotel for one night in Seoul, this was a fabulous option! The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was clean! Check-in was so easy and it was such a good location! Very happy we chose to stay here!

    Good location, just 2 min walk to station.Big room and value for money. As there was no soap holder in the sink area, should have given hand liquid soap dispenser instead.
