Do not repeat my mistakes — do not book this place.
This was an awful experience that completely ruined my trip. This is not a hotel at all, but a regular residential building poorly converted into a so-called guesthouse. There is only one staff member — a man who is responsible for check-ins and also works alone at the restaurant across the street. He told me he is a volunteer, meaning he is not even paid.
The room was dirty. Upon arrival, I found dirty dishes and leftover food. It was obvious that the room had not been cleaned after the previous guests. The bed linen was wrinkled, the bathroom tap was constantly running, and the air conditioner remote control did not work. I asked them to fix the problem with the remote, but no one did anything. As a result, I had to choose between freezing at +19°C (the temperature could not be changed) or turning the air conditioner off completely.
I stayed for only one night and left as soon as possible. The only positive thing was the location with a river view — and even that does not make up for the experience.

We had the most incredible stay at Riversong Bliss this past weekend!
If you are looking for peace, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality, this is the place to be.
The first thing that struck us was how spotlessly neat and well-maintained everything was. The views of the river are absolutely breathtaking—waking up to that scenery was the highlight of our trip.
The staff members were so warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. But the real star of the show was Maya, their adorable puppy! We had the most wonderful time playing with her; she definitely added an extra layer of joy to our stay.
Thank you, Riversong Bliss, for a perfect Saturday and Sunday. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to come back!

Worst experience. This stay completely ruined my Goa trip.
The bathroom had no ventilation, and the entire room smelled so bad that it felt like sleeping inside a washroom. The room was extremely small—like a matchbox.
Water was not coming in the sink, and the bathroom itself was so small and unhygienic that I couldn’t even take a bath. The bad smell spread into the room, making it very uncomfortable to stay.
They didn’t provide a mosquito repellent. Instead, they gave mosquito coils, which filled the room with smoke and made it difficult to breathe.
The fan was not working properly, and after repeated requests, they gave a table fan that was extremely dirty, which only made the room dustier.
The floor mat was full of hair, clearly not cleaned.
Because of all these issues, I had to check out early.
Overall, the hygiene and maintenance were pathetic.
Totally disappointing stay. Not recommended at all. Don’t trust the pictures shown online.
