After a cancelled flight and the need to overnight this was a perfect find. Single room, reasonable, tasteful furnishings well equipped kitchen and a lovely chocolate treat! Perfect after a long day .

The kitchen is very well furnished. After a first uncomfortable night, and no changes to the state of the single room, the host offered a room upgrade for my second night. I do appreciate that they met me half way after expressing discontent about how things had been handled.

I would NOT recommend the SINGLE room. This review is mostly about that, because that's what I booked. While the other rooms are well maintained and clean, the single room seems to be neglected. Once I arrived at the house, the bed was between a secondary (permanently closed door) and a large window, so it was very cold and draughty, and I had to pull the bed away from the window. There were several spiderwebs on the ceiling and the floor was dirty, even more so after moving the bed and discovering they didn't hover under the bed.
