Office staff not the best at answering phone

Although an older cabin for the price it was great so cannot complain it was all we needed and had a good sleep after a huge trip from the North Island. Other amenities were close by. We had a toilet and shower plus fridge in our cabin so very happy.

For the price and what we got there is nothing I did not like.

Great location and a friendly, helpful man on reception. The en suite shower room and toilet was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

I arrived late on a freezing evening to find all the windows in my unit were wide open. The next day I came to realise why: when I returned from a day out the room smelt badly of damp; this had been masked by the cold air. The wifi was almost non-existant. You are given a voucher for each day, each with a unique code, but the wifi soon drops out - leaving you to use another voucher and then your data. It's almost pointless. Also, the shared kitchen had a bad smell. It reminded me of my pet hamster's cage from my childhood. Not great! The odd assortment of crockery and cutlery was disappointing too.
