We loved our stay at The View. As the name suggests, the view really is something special – offering uninterrupted panoramas of Funchal and the ocean. It almost feels like you are in a penthouse. The villa has been recently renovated and is full of character, with thoughtful touches throughout. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The roof terrace was a great for sunbathing and soaking up the scenery. Simone, the owner, was lovely and very helpful during our stay. Highly recommended.
The driveway up to the property is quite narrow, and the space to turn the car is tight. It wasn’t a big issue for us, but it might be a bit tricky with a larger vehicle or if you’re not a confident driver.
