    I recently stayed at Bulaakh White Flower Resort with my spouse and our two kids (aged 6 and 1), and overall, the experience was mixed. On the positive side, the room was spacious and clean, which made our stay comfortable, especially while traveling with young children. The property itself has a pleasant vibe and good potential for a relaxing getaway. However, there were several areas where the experience fell short. The food quality was average, and the breakfast buffet was quite limited, offering only about five items—bread, eggs, stuffed paratha, idli-sambar, and juice. What was disappointing was that they refused to serve cold coffee as part of the buffet, stating that only hot tea and hot coffee were included. The biggest concern during our stay was the housekeeping service, which was not up to the mark. For most requests, the staff had a rather negative or unhelpful response. A few instances that stood out: 1. We requested extra bath and hand towels since the room only had two, which wasn’t sufficient for us and our kids. They brought just one additional hand towel and no bath towel, saying, “room mein 2 hote hain.” To make matters worse, on the second-last day, housekeeping removed all the towels during cleaning and didn’t replace them—we only realized this the next day when we needed them. 2. When housekeeping came to ask about cleaning, we informed them that we were heading out for sightseeing and they could clean then. However, within 10 minutes, someone returned, saw us still in the room, and somewhat impolitely asked, “abhi nahin gaye, kitni der aur?” Thankfully, another team member intervened and took him away. 3. Like most hotels in India, they provide two complimentary water bottles per day. When I requested two additional bottles and agreed to pay for them, the staff responded that I would need to go to the restaurant myself to collect them, which felt unnecessary and inconvenient. Overall, while the property has good rooms and potential, the service—especially housekeeping—and limited breakfast options significantly impacted our experience. With better staff training and improved guest handling, this place could offer a much more enjoyable stay.

    We arrived around 9:00 PM, tired after a long day, only to be met with complete indifference from the front desk staff. There were no welcome drinks — something I've come to expect at virtually every hotel of this calibre — and the lady at reception showed zero urgency in getting our check-in sorted. Basic courtesy seemed entirely absent. When we finally got to our room, it was in a sorry state: no bathroom mats, no towels, an empty shower gel dispenser, and not a single water bottle. Everything had to be specifically requested — nothing was proactively arranged. The next morning was equally disappointing. On my way out, I noticed staff gathered on the balcony taking photos among themselves rather than attending to guests. The breakfast area was left completely unattended, several food items appeared spoiled, and the plates and glasses were visibly unclean. To top it all off, I received a call from the hotel asking me to check out — over an hour after I had already done so. When I pointed this out, the staff member simply said she wasn't aware I had left. That level of disorganisation says everything about the management here. Calling this a 5-star property is a stretch, to put it mildly. I would rate it 1 star. There are serious gaps in staff training, housekeeping standards, and basic guest communication that need to be urgently addressed.
