Catastrophe

I will try to stay 100% realistic and not exaggerate. I am not a person who immediately sees everything negatively, I have never complained before, and this is actually my first review on Booking. I’ll start with the listing. It says that there is a washing machine. When we arrived, there was indeed a washing machine, but it did not work. The woman told us that the previous guests had broken it and that it was not worth replacing it because it is January and they don’t have many guests at the moment. This did not interest us at all, as we were traveling with a 3-month-old baby, came from another city, and specifically booked an apartment with a washing machine because we needed to wash clothes. When I pointed this out, she said, “Yes, yes, we were planning to change the listing anyway and mention that the washing machine is broken.” That is clearly not true, otherwise it would have already been changed. The air conditioning in the apartment worked whenever it felt like it. Since it was very cold outside (below zero in the evenings), it was also cold inside the apartment because the AC only worked partially. I mentioned this to her as well, but she could not really help and tried to manipulate the situation by saying it had something to do with the electricity being too weak. She tried to adjust something and said, “Yes, yes, now it should work,” which was obviously not the case. Nothing changed. Because it was cold, I had to sleep with two blankets. They didn’t exactly stink, but they definitely didn’t smell clean either — more like they had been washed only with water, without any detergent, which was very unpleasant. The woman then went and supposedly bought a new blanket and brought it to us. That blanket smelled absolutely disgusting — strongly of cigarettes and clearly unwashed — even though she claimed it was “new.” When I told her this, she got annoyed and asked what she was supposed to do with the blanket, as if it were my fault.

Elegimos este apartamento porque tenia lavadora, está no funcionaba y la dueña nos dijo que se debía a que un pasajero previo la había dañado, pero que iría a repararla. Esto nunca sucedió, al preguntarle cuándo irían, dejó de responder, volvió a escribir la noche previa a que nos íbamos disculpándose porque el técnico no pudo ir. En la sala de estar, tienen un televisor en mal estado, con pantalla quebrada. Me molestó que no fueran honestos, bastaba con decir que no había lavadora y así podía elegir un lugar que sí tuviera😔 creo que la honestidad siempre entrega más.
