The overall stay was good! It had plenty of room for our adult family of 4 and close to skiing.

We rented this home for my sister's bachelorette party and it was the perfect home for our group. The hostess communicated the day before and the day of and was super sweet. The house itself is SO cozy and cute. The beds were the comfiest beds in any rental I have ever stayed in. She also has a lot of great books throughout the house and a ton of awesome games. The location is perfect and close enough to both Harbor Springs and Petoskey. I HIGHLY recommend staying here if you want a cozy weekend away!

Aesthetically the place was nice but that was as far it goes. It would have been helpful to receive an arrival email explaining how to get to the place. The address is the main road but you had to turn down a side street to get to it. Arriving in the dark was challenging. A few of the outlets did not work and the garbage disposal did not work. Tried to reset it but ended up having to plunge the sink every time we washed dishes. Given the amount of steps there are, it would be helpful to know these do not get shoveled. We happen to be up there during a snow storm so we had to clear our own path several times.We ran out of toilet paper and paper towel. Would have expected at least one hand towel in the kitchen.The basement was freezing compared to the rest of the house. Understand most basements are cold but this was alarmingly cold and the heater provided didn't do much. There was nothing posted on what was needed to be done to check out. We ended up leaving a day early bc of yet another snow storm and emailed to see what was needed to be done which took a few hours before we received a response.
