About this apartment rental
A cozy hideaway for two tucked into a private corner, the Egret is a perfect place to come home to after enjoying a night at theatre or a walk in the park. Spanish tiles and hand forged iron accents add to the ambiance of this special studio cottage.
There are other cottages on the property if you are with a group looking for more than one house. Just let us know!
Note: Abbott's Cottages is a small family business made up of 9 cottages, all within walking distance to downtown. We have been renting our cottages to tourists in Ashland for 25 years and we usually get 5 star reviews on our other booking platforms. We took a break from renting through VRBO but now we are back- just to explain when you see no reviews! We also have cottages at other locations and soon they will be listed here- in the meantime you can look up Abbott's Cottages to view them all :)

This is my first choice for a place to stay in Ashland. The cottages are private and open onto a lovely grassy area. Well appointed, with everything you could want. The hosts are very professional and friendly. The walk into town takes about 10 - 12 minutes, great exercise after attending a play or dining out.

Everything was clean and communicated well. Had no need to reach out to property owner as I was able to confidently get in, enjoy my stay and leave without issue. The internet was poor but that is pretty minor gripe as I had little use for it. I also appreciate the communication regarding ants as it incentivizes keeping the space clean.
