The primary problem was being walked in on by a man who was working for the owner. The owner was on the phone and together they claimed the place was not rented to us and should have been empty. I received all communications and the entry codes and instructions from a third person, whom the owner then recognized as his employee. The problem was cleared up, and we stayed, but being walked in on at night was scary and dangerous. The place was nice and fit our needs; however, it was not as clean as I would expect. Overall, I would say that I would not rent from this owner again.
