    I had an extremely disappointing experience at Nif Ankara Hotel. The room smelled heavily of smoke, and the noise level was unbearable. The walls are so thin it feels like they’re made of fabric, you can hear even whispers from the next room. The window doesn’t close properly, so cold air and noise come straight into the room. Neither the air conditioning nor the heating works. The bathroom is very small, and the water doesn’t drain at all from the floor. On top of that, there is a worrying electrical buzzing sound coming from the AC unit, which I reported to reception, but they showed no concern or urgency. The refrigerator in the room is not working either. What made the situation even worse is that none of the staff speak English. When I tried to explain all these issues, they kept responding in Turkish, and when I said I don’t speak Turkish, they just waved their hand and said “tomorrow, tomorrow,” without any real help. Basic amenities like tissues were not even provided in the room. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. It was frustrating, exhausting, and honestly unacceptable.
