This was the fourth Desti Youth Hostel I stayed at in China. It doesn't disappoint! Clean, quiet, and friendly staff.

Maybe the location, but it's understandable it is Shanghai.

Toilets were beautiful! Washing dryer machines were reasonable like $1-2AUD even use 60mins each and Free gel balls too.

Easy to stuck toilets even use paper too much

Really liked people staying here, nice bar with cheap asahi beer for 20RMB. Good location, around 5 minutes from metro station. Private, quite big capsules

Little bit cold in the room, ac working too much

Close to metro, easy to get to from the airport. Really lovely and friendly staff, even the ones that couldn’t speak English well were as helpful as they could possibly be. Free snacks and laundry pods at reception.

Extremely loud - there was no effort made my anyone to ensure the rooms were quiet. People slamming doors and talking loudly on phones all through the night. I stayed for four nights and got woken up at least five times each night. Dirty rooms- There was a thick layer of dust directly above the bed, dirt on the floor that hadn’t been vacuumed, and a drink ring mark on the desk. Hot - no windows or fresh air at all made it difficult to sleep. “Fresh air” button in room just blows dust around. Bathrooms were constantly dirty.
