About this house rental

Single-family cottage with a thatched roof (120 m²) and Internet access for up to 6 people (non-smokers only); pets not allowed; located directly behind the dunes with a beautiful sandy beach for vacation and recreation on the North Sea. The house is situated on a 500-square-meter garden lot featuring a south-facing terrace overlooking a canal with views of the dunes.


Sports and leisure activities: wide, clean sandy beaches, with a year-round beach restaurant. Kilometers of bike and hiking trails through the dunes, nature reserves, and magnificent Dutch polders. Bike rentals just a few meters from the house. Country Club with a restaurant. Subtropical water park with play areas for children. Miniature golf course, tennis courts, horseback riding, canoe rentals, and plenty of fishing opportunities.

Surroundings and activities: the port city of Den Helder with a ferry terminal to the Wadden Sea island of Texel, a favorite destination for cyclists, hikers, and nature lovers. A visit to the famous Ecomare seal sanctuary is recommended. Historic towns such as Hoorn and Schagen, with their West Frisian markets, and Alkmaar, with its world-famous cheese market, are well worth a visit.

Perfect! Fine house very well equipted.Very nice terras for eveings outside. Only 15 min to the beach by feet.Shopping center in10 min by carCentral located for tripps to Den Helder, Alkmar and Amsterdam.

A very nice well equipped cottage located in a beautiful area within walking distance of the beach. Beautiful walking trails and easy access to groceries and other amenities. The owner was responsive and provided all necessary information and made himself available for any questions. If travelling by plane from another country, please carefully check to see whether bedding and towels are included, and arrange for the purchase of the bedding package if not.
