I had a wonderful stay at Spark by Hilton Madrid Alcalá. The hotel is located in a very central area of Madrid, making it extremely convenient for exploring the city. It is also very close to the metro station, which allows you to reach all the main attractions quickly and easily. Additionally, the availability of private parking is a huge advantage, especially if you are traveling by car. PET Friendly.
The hotel itself is brand new, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed. Everything feels modern, clean, and very well taken care of. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable.
What truly made the difference during my stay was the staff — they were genuinely kind, helpful, and always available to assist with any request. Their professionalism and friendliness made the experience even more enjoyable.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madrid!

The hotel was v nice, but several complains I have.
WIFI was choppy, couldn't even make a phone call on it properly without it constantly getting cut off. Front desk said it was due to the hotel being fully booked and high usage, but they should do something about this.
There is also no mini fridge in the room

We had booking for 3 nights but on arrival the reception claimed we have paid for only one night and demanded we pay for 2more nights. This continued even after I showed our payment receipt to Agoda. After a long wait finally they found out they were wrong but not even an apology was offered.
Then came the next fiasco. They wanted safety deposit for our stay. €100 per night. €300in total for 3 nights. I saw a form which was in the hands of the receptionist where for 2 nights €100 have been charged and pointed it out. Initially she insisted it was for 1 night then finally agreed it was for 2 nights and agreed to charge me €150 instead of €300 originally demanded, this time too without any apology.
This sort of inconsistent behaviour does not certainly comply with higher standards of a hotel chain like Hilton!
Rooms were of excellent quality staff were exactly the opposite.
The hotel is about €15-20 taxi ride one way from the city. When you factor in that we think we may next time pay €40 extra to get a comparable hotel in the city center.
