Tropical 3 BDR Villa with pool By Casa Paraíso

I liked the size of the home--it was about 2,000 square feet, so it was perfect for 4 people! It was also very close to the beaches, so that was nice. Having a washer and dryer was also very convenient. Also basically every room had an air-conditioning unit, which made the whole house very comfortable.

The kitchen faucet is AWFUL! They ABSOLUTELY need to replace it RIGHT AWAY! It's awful and makes it almost impossible to wash dishes. The kitchen needs cabinets, ASAP! All the dishes, cups, silverware and cooking pans our outside of the kitchen in a pantry area--makes it incredibly inconvenient! The kitchen needs cabinets and drawers. Also the shower in the bathroom by the laundry room leaks out when you shower. Also when it rains, some water seeps into the very end of living room area by the windows on the ceiling, but that wasn't too much of a big deal. The water pressure in the bedroom to the right of the entrance is VERY low. Also, the toilet seat in the same bathroom needs tightening.

The apartment is very spacious in an old building. It is situated on the ground floor, which makes it cool even without using the airco a lot. The decoration is the most kitch we have ever encountered in a rental, but it is all very comfortable. Tastes differ. We have smiled a lot at all the little details. The location is a short walk to a public beach situated next to the Kempinski hotel. (It seems to be a gay hotspot.) The pool in the beautiful garden is a little undeep for proper swimming but most adequate to refresh and splash around. Access to the compound is through a garden gate, so don’t bring your friends, they won’t get in. Guarded parking is available in the property. (Yes, you need a car to get around)

The apartment has windows but because of the vegetation around the building all rooms except the master bedroom are very dark. The kitchen is useless for cooking. There isn’t even a cutting board. Maintenance in general could be better.
