Heel goed contact met de host die ons lachend verwelkomde. Het appartement is heel ruim en werkelijk schitterend met de plafondschilderingen. Er zijn veel faciliteiten aanwezig in de keuken. Het appartement lijkt recent gerenoveerd. Ook heel veel kastruimte in de slaapkamers, die op zichzelf al heel ruim opgezet zijn.
Omdat er airco is kunnen de ramen dicht, maar er is 's nachts wel wat lawaai op straat (mensen, politieauto's), Al vermoeden wij dat dit voor heel Catania een probleem is; het huis bevindt zich in een relatief rustige buurt. Na 1 nacht ben je er aan gewend. klein puntje: de wc zit wat klem tussen de muur en de (groot gebouwde) wastafel. Hierdoor moet je wat schuin op de wc zitten. Voor minder valide personen kan dit een uitdaging zijn.
