Dangerous and uninhabitable
Despite having gas appliances and heating there was no functioning CO alarm, the batteries had been removed and it was 2 years out of date. We were promised a full refund and agreed to leave after discovering this serious issue, after leaving the refund request was rejected by the hosts and they went back on their word. Luckily I had the agreement documented and recorded over text and eventually won the case the refund via my bank. Its a shame it took so long to resolve and the owners were rude, telling me just to open a window. Do you really want your family and loved ones staying somewhere the owners clearly dont care about your safety just lining their own pockets?

Location, very cosy, very comfy bed and great shower.
Only minor things and it didn’t spoil the stay but a TV would have been good, the light above the table didn’t work so playing cards or a board game was difficult, and the only knives were butter knives with no serrated edge so made cutting my food difficult!

And relax......
The peacefulness. Being able to just unwind, lovely walks just outside the back gate. Great area to explore, amazing views.
'Not a didn't like', but we were surprised that there was no television, but to be fair, it wasn't listed anyway. We did suggest maybe a radio for the less digitally able!!
