About this cottage rental

Perfect for group celebrations and holidays, or for couples who want to have plenty of space, this retreat offers privacy and comfort in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside. With walks from the front door and a host of accessible tourist adventures, you will be spoilt for choice. The farmhouse is 1 mile from Clows Top village, with a post office/general store, a butcher, farm shop and café. In the wider area there are a selection of pubs, shops and places to visit, including West Midlands Safari Park (8 miles), Bewdley with its river walk (12 miles), Clee Hills (10 miles), Wyre Forest with its forestry walks and Go Ape (6 miles) and Ludlow with its historic castle, festivals and food fairs (18 miles). For a spot of history, visit Cleobury Mortimer with its historic twisted church spire (4 miles), Iron Bridge in Bridgnorth with its black and white properties (17 miles), the Black Country Living Museum (24 miles), or Worcester with its famous Cathedral (16 miles).


With its peaceful setting and generous living space with beams and homely décor, you will feel instantly at home in this two storey accommodation. For guests with limited mobility, there is an access ramp to the side of the property which takes you to the back door for easier access. On the ground floor, from the hallway, you step into the lounge, a relaxing space with comfortable seating, a wood burner and Smart TV. This flows into a second seating area with dining table, ideal for seating ten people in comfort and style. In the well equipped kitchen, you will find a table and benches for breakfast and casual eating, ample countertop space, storage cupboards, a large American style fridge/freezer, a quality electric range with gas hob, dishwasher, coffee-maker, and ample crockery for the most enthusiastic chef. From the kitchen is the utility room which provides a washing machine, tumble dryer, bench and dog supplies. From the hallway you gain access to the downstairs bedroom suite with its own sitting area and TV/DVD player. The super-king-size zip-and-link bed can be converted into twin beds upon request. From the hallway you also find a stylish bathroom with a large walk-in shower. On the first floor you will find four bedrooms, one with a super-king-size bed which can be converted into twin beds upon request. The master bedroom boasts a king-size bed and ample storage. From the hallway, you'll find a further two bedrooms with double beds. All bedrooms provide hair dryers and storage space, along with quality bed linens and fresh towels for your stay. From the landing you will find a contemporary family bathroom with shower, bath, toilet and wash basin.


Outside, you will find a private wraparound outdoor living space, with two patios, seating, gas BBQ, and private hot tub positioned to make the most of the outstanding countryside views. A field (with stock fencing) at the rear of the property is for your exclusive use. Please note there will be grazing livestock in the surrounding fields at all times of the year, even if you can’t see them. Ample parking is provided, along with secure storage for bikes and other outdoor equipment.
