Le Palais Aubernon

Location was excellent

Excellet communication and the flat was clean and newly renovated. The host provided us with beach towels upon request, which was very much appreciated. Location was the best, in the old town, near the beach. Lovely food places and the market nearby. Large refrigerator and a kitchen were you could cook breakfast and basic meals, although we never used it as we had plans. Great coffee machine, and very convenient that the basics were provided (tea, coffee, creamer, oil, salt etc.). AC worked perfectly. Overall, we would stay here again (but bring our own pillows ;-). A lovely additions to the experience would be if you provided beach towels and a rattan basket to carry them to the beach in.

We Scandinavians are used to 50x60 or 50x70cm pillows that can be shaped. There were too few pillows and the size provided was not comfortable (large square) and stiff. Towels were plentiful (but some too worn out). Only one set of keys were provided.

Every year, my two best friends and I take a special trip. This time, we were longing for the ocean and that feeling of “This place just makes you feel happy! ” Many thanks to Claude at Palais Aubernon 1679 for four days of excellent service that left nothing to be desired. High praise: The local restaurant recommendations were outstanding. Our favorite insider tip: Chez Jules—sensational food in the Old Town. Our apartment was perfectly located for all our tripps over the next few days; and it’s right next to the beautiful weekly market and just a few minutes away from the sea and the stunning harbor (Europe‘s largest!). The cleanliness, the amenities, and the attention to detail in every room were excellent. Actually, I’d prefer it to remain an insider’s secret, but I’ll recommend this place to all my friends without reservation. The stairwell even smells wonderful; a clever host has created the perfect sense of familiarity here—when you walk in, you get the feeling: “This is exactly where I want to be!” Thank you very much for arranging our parking service and for making our stay at the Palais Aubernon something truly special and unforgettable. The fantastic location in the old town has only one special thing, there might be a bit of partying’all night long‘ in front of the door, but the windows are well insulated

Stylish, modern and cool apartment set bang in the lively centre of Antibes. The beach, great bars and restaurants and amenities were all on our doorstep and the nightlife was fun for holidaying with our adult teen! Claude and Deborah could not have been more flexible or accommodating and the whole experience was a delight.
