A challenge

The shower was clean and had plenty of hot water. The staff and resident guest tried their best to help me. It was walkable to Rotherham centre. Once I got the hang of the codes it felt safe.

It would be easy to dismiss this place as bad, but I want to be constructive. I was assigned to room 4 which appeared to be nicer than room 3 which ,for a few complications, is where I ended up. It lacked many things and was a challenge. It had no coat hangers, no hooks, no proper mirror ,no cup or glass and the toilet seat was not secure .There was nowhere close to the bed where I could place and plug in the table lamp. The worst thing was the state of the bed . It gave way on the side closest to the shower room. I fear that soon someone will go right through it. Constructive criticism --- If the owners are serious about offering this room 3 on Booking.com and getting decent reviews a new bed is a must . I would suggest a single bed to enable a revamp. A few cheap hangers and hooks, a chair, possibly changing the layout so that the bed does not completely cover the radiator and enable a small bedside cabinet for the table lamp could make it quite acceptable. I wish the owners good luck because I do feel they mean well.

A decent room for a one-night stay in Rotherham

Good value for money. Good enough for a one-night stay, but probably not for multiple days, as the room is small and the location not the best. The owner is very responsive.

The bed was left undone and the room uncleaned by the staff since the previous tenant left (though, the owner was very responsive and immediately sent someone to come and prepare the room for me when I reached out). Location; not the best area. The room is fairly cold; didn't notice any in-room heating.

Very bad experience

Very bad support from the owner. He didn't even responded for my messages. Someone else was already occupied the room when i reach there and it was dirty. Even though they provided me with the new room the hot water wasn't there in that. Overall very bad experience.

For the money I paid I could not fault this property, plus,I found the host very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

No frills accommodation adequate for a short stay

Simple, basic en suite, no frills accommodation close to the town centre. The street and area are not high class but this is Rotherham. 10 minutes walk to All Saints Square in the centre of town. Needed a bed for the night whilst visiting my family as it's quite a trek there and back in a day and this place did the trick. Comfortable double bed. Plenty of eateries within a couple of minutes walk on Wellgate (if you enjoy kababs and chicken burgers).

Not much to dislike but the hand wash basin was not easy to use as it was right next to the bed and you had to stand at the side to use it. Outside door access code was a little fiddly and not easy to navigate in the dork. Okay for a night / couple of nights but no more.
