5 stars! The Listen to the German Castle Sing Hotel in Xiamen is a true hidden (pun intended) gem. It’s a mansion with some rooms done in a castle style. Set in a heritage building over 100 years old, the exterior preserves its historic German castle charm, while the interior surprises with modern, boutique design and creative touches throughout. The peaceful atmosphere makes it the perfect retreat, blending history with contemporary comfort. Special thanks to September (九月) for her exceptional and attentive service—she made our stay truly memorable and make up the extra points for whatever is lacking to win my 5 star rating. Breakfast top up is worth it for the convenience and comfort, not a huge spread, however expect quality homely breakfast with food like soya bean milk, roasted sweet potatoes, I like their German ham. In short, Highly recommended for anyone seeking a unique, out of the beaten track and tranquil experience in Xiamen! They are new on booking.com , hence you will not get much review. These guys will do well once it gets popular, so do go before it gets way too crowded.

Cleanliness could be improved however maybe they outsource and the vendor or cleaning person doesn’t enjoy cleaning, and no pride.
