L’emplacement proximité immédiate du centre

La posizione centralissima, a pochi minuti a piedi da Palazzo dei Normanni. Il check-in comodissimo e anche la modalità di accesso all'appartamento, che ha permesso fossimo tutti e 4 indipendenti. L'estrema gentilezza e disponibilità del proprietario, abbiamo avuto un paio di inconvenienti (l'impresa di pulizie aveva preparato solo per due ospiti, l'aria condizionata si è momentaneamente interrotta) e il proprietario ha tempestivamente risolto il problema portandoci la biancheria necessaria e riparando il condizionatore mentre eravamo fuori.

Per un soggiorno medio-lungo (noi siamo stati 6 notti) consiglio questo appartamento a due persone, al massimo con un bambino piccolo. Con il senno di poi essendo in 4 più una bimba avremmo probabilmente prenotato quello più grande per un maggiore comfort.

The upstairs flat is very tastefully decorated and spacious and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s close to the Royal and Palace and Cathedral and the host makes good use of google translate and modern communication to stay in touch. We were allowed to leave our bags at the property when we arrived at 11am from overnight ferry ( check in is not allowed until 2pm ) and host made a suggestion of a park we could take shade in as the weather was very hot and we were pretty tired. When the electric tripped ( we suspected the toaster) we messaged the host who responded in minutes and someone can and reset the system straight away. This was a relief as all the door locks are electronic

Very little. For it to be perfect, there would be an alternative to the electronic doors and the balcony could be upgraded to match the quality of the interior. Also, the balcony is very functional ( cleaning mops etc stored but not in a cupboard) and not a pretty ‘sit outside’ sort of space. This isn’t really a problem as you’re in Palermo - why would you want to sit on a balcony 🤣 Also, the BEAUTIFUL shower/spa space has no plug so it is really a lovely foot wash or handheld shower situation. The other shower works fine We are very fit and the stairs ( several flights) no problem to us but wouldn’t be great for less fit travellers with heavy bags
