Large apartment with two balconies with fabulous views of the mountains.

The floors and kitchen utensils could have been cleaner. The hosts were slow to respond to requests for check-in information, and we only found out the details about an hour before the check-in time.

The apartment is very good. It’s in a great location just 5 mins from train station. The area is nice and quiet despite overlooking station. It has everything you could want, and is very comfortable. The views from the balconies is fantastic. 10 minute walk to the lake. It’s good value for a property this size in Lecco.

The agent managing the property is completely useless. He does not respond to emails , texts or phone calls. We were left waiting outside the apartment with no certainty that anyone would appear to let us in. They use a so called “fast track” system to take your details but it takes about 20 mins to do it then you are presented with a lengthy legal contract to sign none of which is obvious when you make the booking and have already paid. Then you receive an email saying that you must have a credit card and won’t be able to access apartments with a debit card even though you paid for apartment with a debit card. (it seems that they waive this requirement but it’s concerning when the email says otherwise) I would give the apartment a thumbs up if the owner changes the managing agent I don’t know what would happen if there was a serious problem that needed immediate attention
