Starting with the apartment itself – it is by far the best-equipped Airbnb we have ever stayed in. It had everything we could possibly need, and honestly, three times more than you would normally expect on a holiday. It made us feel completely at home because it felt as though Elisabete had opened her own home to her guests without taking anything away. Every little detail was there. The welcome was simply incredible. The fridge was fully stocked, and there was so much food that we could easily have enjoyed it for several days. We have never experienced such generosity on this scale before. Throughout our entire stay, Elisabete took wonderful care of us. When a small electrical issue occurred, she immediately arranged for someone to help and even drove all the way from the other side of the island to make sure everything was taken care of. That level of care and hospitality is incredibly rare. In one word – Elisabete, thank you. ❤️ To anyone looking for a magical place to stay in Funchal, where your rental is much more than just accommodation and where you truly feel like you are living there rather than simply visiting, this is the perfect place. We couldn’t recommend it more highly.

This is a spacious apartment, conveniently located for those hiring a car just a few minutes from the main ER101 road and only about 15 minutes from the airport. Having already been given clear directions to reach the apartment, we were given a wonderfully warm welcome from the owner Elisabete and her husband, who greeted us as we arrived and directed us to park in their underground parking space. We were given an introductory tour and gifted a generous amount of food and drink to start our holiday. The apartment was spotlessly clean, obviously well cared for, fully equipped with everything you might need and very comfortable. The view from the balcony is amazing and there is a bakery and a restaurant below, plus the Olympic swimming pool opposite. We were given recommendations for restaurants and places to visit, nothing was too much trouble. Overall, a fantastic base to explore Madeira, a beautiful apartment and a kind and generous host.
