Not in a touristic area, which for me was great. You can take the bus down to the city, who takes about 25 min. and costs under 2 euro. The bus stop is just around the house corner. Not too long walk to the grocery store. Padaria in the same building. Some small shops and restaurants nearby. Road by the house, but not too noisy inside.
I missed aircondition and dishwasher. Balcony ok, but not very quiet because of the road.
