Gioshouse
We ( 2 adults and an 8 year old child) enjoyed our stay at Gioshouse. It is a wonderful safe clean 2 story appartment on the 3rd floor ( elevator!) with a balcony in the Milan suburbs ( Santa Giulia). It is equipped with all amenities/ appliances if needed. It has right around the corner little stores to get everything what we needed ( fresh fruits, groceries, little pizza shop..even a beer/ wine bar) and it is 5 min walk to the next main public transportation hub ( San Donato) to get in 15 min downtown Milan ( Duomo). And we chose that location because of its proximity to the new Icehockey Arena for the Olympic events. Which our host Gio had, if needed flyers prepared with all important public transportation connections. On request he offers also a garage to rent ( inside the appartment complex) for a very reasonable additional fee but there is a plenty of free open parking spots in front of the building. Our host Gio ( a very nice young gentleman) ,we got to meet in person on our very first day, was always very accessible via messaging for any questions. We definitely would come back to his place or recommend to others. Great job Gio!!

Excellent spot...
I loved this quaint apartment in the San Donato area of Milan. It was very clean, around the corner from a grocery store, café & restaurants. The shop keepers were very pleasant. The host of this property was very patient, kind & helpful. I was nervous as this was my first time visiting Italy. But the host kindness took away any uneasiness I initially felt. Each time I visit Milan, I will try to always book this place!! The location is secured within a gated building. It's also about a 15 minute walk from the M3 train station that will take you to some of Milans best tourist attractions.
It is graffiti on some of the buildings. However, graffiti is a part of Italy, I noticed. Milan is a big city after all, so I guess that is normal. I just never knew that it was the same in Europe, lol.

Uno dei posti migliori per riposarsi durante il viaggio, con un proprietario davvero gentile. Tutto è vicino, cibo molto buono e persino un McDonald’s a pochi passi se di notte viene voglia di fare uno spuntino. C’è il parcheggio gratuito accanto alla casa. Tutti i comfort sono all’interno dell’alloggio, siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. Lo consiglio di cuore!
