Stunning property with Summer house

The property was exceptionally clean and spacious, providing the perfect environment for a wonderful family gathering. We absolutely loved the cozy, relaxing summer house with its TV and coffee setup, and the bedrooms were immaculate and smelled amazing. Additionally, the cupboards were incredibly well-stocked with snacks and refreshments, and the host was fantastic, checking in on us to ensure everything was perfect.

Bottom line. Great value for money! It catered for lots of us, and meant we could gather together on a family trip. Perfect.

There was no thermostat to higher the heating. I could have messaged the owner but I worked out how to higher the temp on the boiler (and lower it when we left) but could be good on the info to explain heating.

Decent place overall, came for a family wedding nearby but there were a few issues during the stay. It wasn’t clear which door to use on entry, and I was later messaged by the owner saying I’d used the wrong one, which could have been explained better beforehand. I also felt the host was a bit intrusive at times. When my sister briefly came to pick up my kids (less than 10 minutes), I was questioned about the number of guests and it felt like there was an attempt to charge extra. It gave the impression that we were being watched quite closely. Additionally, I was asked whether I had changed the lockbox code, which I wouldn’t know how to do anyway. Aside from these points, the stay itself was okay.
