Welcome to Villa del Sol by Solmar Rentals!
This property has an exquisite garden with direct access to one of the most beautiful beaches in Cancun with spectacular views. Villa del Sol is a family home since the year 2000 and opens its doors to a lucky few. Beautifully furnished, private, with six double en-suite bedrooms, a large sitting room, dining room, library and cinema. The villa has a large pool in a beautiful tropical garden where you will spend a dream vacation.
The Space:
A refined ocean front Mexican Villa in the heart of the Hotel Zone.
- 2 bedrooms with a king size bed and ensuite bathroom each
- 4 bedrooms with a queen bed and ensuite bathroom each
- Private pool
- Lounge chairs

The entire space will be private and just for your use.
Fiber optic Wi-Fi available throughout the property.
There is direct private access to the beach from the garden.
Guest Access:
The villa is in a private gated area and we have up to 5 parking spaces available on the property.
Please note that AC is available in all bedrooms, the kitchen & cinema room, but not available throughout every area of the house - We prefer to be sustainable and have many floor to ceiling windows that can be opened onto the garden to let the sea breeze through.
The Neighborhood:
The villa is located in an exclusive and safe area of the famous Cancun Hotel Zone, where you can find the best restaurants, nightclubs, casinos, spas and different places for both entertainment and relaxation.
There is direct access to the beach from the garden.
The ferry to Isla Mujeres is walking distance and from there is only a 20 minute journey by sea.
Getting Around:
-There is public transport (bus) through-out Hotel Zone.
-A car rental is another option, we can help you with that.
-Taxis circulare around the city.

We stayed here for a week to celebrate my wife's 40th and my daughter's 5th ! Absolutely amazing. Beautiful views. Pool is amazing! House is spacious ! Beach is steps away ...chef was AMAZING with traditional Mexican dishes ! I could go on and on. Definitely worth it !

The listing leads you to believe that the beach is somewhat secluded. It is not. It is very public and was littered with beer cans, liquor bottles, and very crowded each day every day.
The listing says that there are beach towels in the house. There were 6 towels for 13 people.
The listing says that the house has air conditioning. The bedrooms have AC but the main living areas do not.
The listing says that there is WiFi. The management said that they were "changing providers" and that we would have it the next day. We never had WiFi. This was pretty inconvenient for those in our group that had to work.
The listing says that there is a washer & dryer. It was not working while we were there.
The property and architecture was beautiful. It was very clean. The in-house staff was phenomenal. However, we were not told that there was a live in staff at the house.
Overall, it was frustrating not to have the laundry facilities, the WiFi, and the beach towels. We could have planned/packed differently.
