Located in a green setting, this pleasant country house in a green setting, is located in the town of Carsac-Aillac (just a few kms from the city center of Sarlat) will contribute to the success of your stay in Black Périgord.
A beautiful covered terrace overlooking a large garden will allow you to enjoy the softness of the setting and the environment.

From your place of residence you can easily access the many tourist activities and excursions offered by the region, including the nearby cycle path.
Country house ideally located in the heart of Périgord, close to the most beautiful sites in the region and just 2 km from the Dordogne valley.
The house offers 2 bedrooms and four sleeping possibilities, a bathroom with two showers. A bedroom with a large double bed and a twin bedroom that can be made into a double bed.
Fully equipped American kitchen (induction hob, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, dryer)
Large living-dining room with sofa, television,

Two pleasant terraces, one of which is covered with its veranda overlooking the garden, perfect for dining outside.

We have spent a very pleasant week at Daniela’s house. It is actually her home (she moves out to stay with friends when it is let) and it has been tastefully furnished. The kitchen has everything you could possibly think of in terms of cookware etc., and everything was spotlessly clean.
The house is about 3km outside Sarlat, in a quiet location quite close to a small industrial area but you wouldn’t know it. Surrounded by trees, it is very peaceful. There is an excellent farm shop about 500 metres away selling excellent quality local produce and then there is a huge Leclerc supermarket about 2.5km away.
Sadly for us the weather was a little disappointing so we were not able to get full use of the pool. It is not heated but the sun did get it up to 22 degrees one afternoon which was ok for a quick dip, but still felt cold.
Our only negative comments relate to VRBO who gave us completely the wrong address for this house - twice. It was only by contacting Daniela directly that we got the correct address to put into our SatNav.

We stayed for 12 nights and got a little bit lost finding the property but with google translate and a few texts Danielle kindly came to find us and guide us in, we were shown through the property and Danielle spent time with my son showing him the TV set up which raised a few smiles!!the property was well equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay, even offering a blow up ring for the pool, we were also provided with condiments and some home made jam and pate to enjoy which we did, the property was clean and the beds were really comfortable we struggled to get out of them, the pool is in the right spot for catching the sun and it is cool and refreshing getting into it, the house is not to far away from some great places to see for example Sarlat-La-Canéda and there are plenty of supermarkets to get what you need. Danielle went on holiday whilst we were there but we met Anabelle her daughter who had lived in the UK as she popped in to ensure we had everything we needed, she was also lovely and spoke perfect English, I would recommend staying here as it is great place to recharge the batteries and enjoy the Dordogne, we will be looking to book in again.
