Welcome to Wailea Grand Champions #162, a comfortable and well-appointed Maui retreat nestled along the 2nd hole of the Wailea Blue Golf Course. Owned and managed by people who love and spend time on the island, this condo offers a wonderful space for your stay—from morning coffee with ocean views to relaxing dinners on the private lanai.
Located in a premier country club-style resort, you are just minutes from world-class beaches, snorkeling spots, luxury shopping, and top-tier dining.
THE SPACE
This top-floor, rare corner unit features soaring vaulted ceilings, abundant natural light, and serene views of the golf course and Pacific Ocean. While classic in its layout, it features updated furnishings and appliances throughout, offering a spacious and comfortable setup for up to 4 guests.
* Primary Suite: King bed with a memory foam mattress and a private en-suite bathroom featuring a walk-in shower.
* Living Area: Bright and open, featuring a West Elm queen sofa sleeper, 65" 4K Smart TV (where guests can log into their own Netflix, Prime, or Hulu accounts), and a second full bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
* Private Lanai: Outfitted with a teak bar-height dining set—ideal for outdoor meals with a view—plus an outdoor closet housing the washer and dryer.
* Climate Control: Window A/C units and ceiling fans in both the living room and bedroom.
* Fully Equipped Kitchen: Complete with updated appliances, stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, blender, toaster, rice steamer, Keurig, French press, and drip coffee maker.
* In-Unit Amenities: Washer and dryer (located in the lanai closet), high-speed Wi-Fi, cable TV, plush bath towels, and hair dryers.
* Beach Gear Included: Tommy Bahama beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, a small cooler, and sand toys.
* Parking: 1 dedicated, numbered parking spot included (pass provided).

Set on 11 lush, resort-style acres bordered by the Wailea Golf and Tennis Clubs, the complex features:
* 2 Heated Swimming Pools: Complete with sundecks, lounge chairs, hot tubs, umbrellas, outdoor showers, and restrooms. Note that one pool is designated as a "quiet pool"—ideal for adults looking for a peaceful atmosphere without splashing, jumping, music, or loud talking.
* 4 Gas BBQ Grills (2 located at each pool area).
* Beautifully landscaped tropical grounds less than 30 minutes from Kahului Airport (OGG).
NOTICE FOR FALL 2027 BOOKINGS
Please note that Grand Champions Villas is undergoing a phased exterior painting project to maintain the resort grounds. Building 18 is currently scheduled for exterior painting between September 29, 2027, and October 15, 2027 (please note that while these are the dates currently scheduled, project dates are subject to change). Work occurs Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (no weekends). Guests staying during this work window may experience daytime noise, crew presence on ladders/scaffolding around the building, and temporary restrictions on lanai furniture/usage during work hours. All resort pools, BBQs, and amenities remain open. Rates during this short window have been adjusted to account for the daytime inconvenience!

* The Shops at Wailea: An open-air center featuring luxury boutiques (such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Tiffany & Co.), vibrant dining options, and the convenient Island Gourmet Markets / ABC Store for groceries and everyday essentials.
* Local Dining & Markets: Wailea Wine, Wailea Kitchen, Matteo’s Osteria, Manoli’s Pizza Company, Snorkel Bob’s equipment rentals, and Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman (a personal local favorite!).

IMPORTANT NOTES & BOOKING POLICIES
* Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing trip cancellation/travel insurance, as refunds are strictly limited to the stated cancellation policy or VRBO extenuating circumstances.
* Non-Smoking Unit: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the condo and on the lanai.
* No Pets: Per HOA regulations, pets and animals (including Emotional Support Animals) are not allowed.
* Taxes & Rate Adjustments: Taxes charged are subject to change based on state and county requirements. If local tax rates adjust prior to your stay, guests are obligated to pay any additional required tax balance.
HOUSE RULES & GUEST GUIDELINES
By booking, guests agree to adhere to all community and HOA guidelines:
1. Quiet Hours (10:00 PM – 8:00 AM): No excessive noise, outdoor music, or laundering during these hours. Sound carries easily across lanais.
2. Occupancy: Maximum 4 guests (children of any age count toward total occupancy). Only pre-registered guests are permitted.
3. Reservation Changes: No reservation changes are accepted within 30 days of check-in, unless the guest is adding additional days to their booking.
4. Check-In & Damage: Inspect the unit upon arrival and report any existing or new damage immediately so maintenance can be arranged promptly.
5. Remotes & Electronics: Any lost, missing, or damaged fan, AC, or TV/Cable remotes will incur a $200 replacement fee per remote charged to the guest.
6. Air Conditioning: Keep all windows closed while A/C is running. Please turn off units when away for more than an hour.
7. Shoes & Sand: Please remove shoes indoors. Rinse sand at the outdoor hose before entering, and shake out all gear/towels before washing (sand damages appliances). Do not shake items over the lanai railing.
8. Towels: Bath towels must remain inside the condo. Use designated beach towels for outdoor use.
9. Drying Items: HOA prohibits hanging clothes or towels on lanai or entryway railings. Please use the provided indoor drying rack.
10. Parking: Park only in assigned space #162 with the provided pass displayed.
11. Beach Gear: Please clean and return all gear to its original spot prior to departure.
12. Lockout Policy: Do not force doors or remove screens if locked out. Contact the host immediately (locksmith fees apply for forced access).
13. Window Blinds: Operate cordless blinds gently by lifting or pulling from the center.
14. Scheduled Pest Control & Island Wildlife: To maintain a clean, high-quality resort environment, pest control treatments are conducted periodically inside the units. Guests will receive advance notice (typically 30 days prior) if a routine treatment falls during their stay. Required HOA access must be granted, as refusal results in a $200 fine. Please also note that in a tropical climate, occasional geckos or insects are a natural part of the island environment.

Beautiful condo with plenty of amenities. Enjoyed our morning coffee and evening cocktails watching the sunset from the lanai. Host was very welcoming and responsive. Definitely expect a future visit from us
