Escape to Sunset Cove, a beautiful waterfront home on Lake Sinclair in the quiet Twin Bridges area, perfect for small family get-togethers (up to 8 guests). This pet-friendly gem offers the best of tranquility and convenience, just 15 minutes from charming downtown Milledgeville for dining, shopping, and local adventures.
Enjoy breathtaking westerly views as the sun dips over the water, creating beautiful sunsets you'll never forget. Whether you're lounging by the private pool, on the dock, or in the cozy screened porch with comfy seating, every spot feels like a front-row seat to nature's show.
Fresh for 2026 – We've completed a full refresh! The decks and dock now feature composite material, plus we've added improved outdoor seating and lighting for evening enjoyment. All bedrooms have been beautifully redecorated with fresh paint, new art, room-darkening shades and curtains for restful sleep, and a king-size bed in the 2nd bedroom. Both king bedrooms now have stylish new electric fireplaces to add that extra cozy touch. Inside, the home feels warm and welcoming with a fully upgraded gorgeous kitchen that's open to two fun gathering areas ideal for family meals, games, or just watching the lake and pool while everyone hangs out together. Here’s the thoughtful layout that makes it so great for families:
Three spacious bedrooms clustered in one area
Primary king bedroom with private ensuite bathroom
Second king bedroom (now with a king bed as well) shares a hall bath but has direct access, making it feel like a second primary suite
Third bedroom with hall access to the shared bathroom
Third bathroom is located in the main living area to allow easy access for all guests and anyone using the murphy bed.
There's also a separate family room with a smart TV for quiet viewing when the kids (or adults!) want some downtime away from the main chatter.
Important note about boating: This peaceful part of the lake has limited boat access due to a small fixed bridge (approximately 5-6ft clearance). If you're planning to bring a boat or rent one, please reach out to us first we're happy to help confirm if your watercraft can easily navigate the area.

We stayed for six nights for a couples’ retreat with our two boxers, and it was absolutely wonderful. The home was very clean, well-kept, and comfortable—plenty of pillows (a relief since I forgot mine!). The fenced-in yard gave us peace of mind for our dogs, and the entire property felt very safe.The outdoor space was the highlight. The large, spotless pool was perfect for a daily swim, and we also brought our kayaks to enjoy time out on the lake. We spent most of our time on the deck—sometimes relaxing in the screened-in area with a ceiling fan for a break from the sun, other times rocking in the comfortable chairs while taking in the gorgeous lakefront views. The sunsets over the water were especially beautiful.Evenings by the fire pit were a perfect way to end the day. One of our favorite routines was heading out on the lake in the morning, swimming in the pool in the afternoon, and then making s’mores by the fire pit at night. Truly the best of all worlds.The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing, making it easy to unplug and unwind. Communication with the host and the check-in process were smooth and easy.We highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful views, great amenities, and dog-friendly peace of mind. We left feeling refreshed and will definitely keep this place in mind for future trips.

We had a wonderful time. Really enjoyed the pool. The only drawback was that the grill was not functional and we had planned on grilling several meals.
