About this cottage rental

Two bedroomed traditional welsh cottage to sleep up to 4. Ddol cottage is situated on a farm with donkeys and an alpaca which you are welcome to fuss, feed and brush. Many guests of all ages return to enjoy their time with the donkeys.
Bedroom one has a double bed with luxury hypnos mattress and bedroom two has two single beds. Both bedrooms have a wardrobe and drawers. The lounge has a stressless recliner leather sofa and chairs. There is a woodburner for you to enjoy snuggling up to
during the cooler days. There is a flatscreen tv and dvd player along with a selection of books, board games, jigsaws, childrens toys and of course the essential bucket and spade to make sandcastles. There is a fully equipped kitchen for your self catering needs with a microwave, electric oven and hob and fridge with small freezer.
There is an enclosed garden at the rear of the cottage with views across the countryside to the sea. A picnic table and parasol have been provided for you to enjoy meals outside on sunnier days. Three of the donkeys can come to the garden fence for you fuss and feed or they can be kept away for those with allergies.
As the cottage is in a rural area you can enjoy dark skies ideal for stargazing or maybe catching a glimpse of the northern lights.
Ideally located to discover the stunning Ceredigion coastline or the cambrian mountains. Cwmtydu our closest beach is a magical cove known for frequent visits by seals. New Quay is a lovely harbour town where you can take boat trips along the coast to see dolphins, seals and seabirds. Take a narrow gauge steam train ride up the beautiful vale of rheidol from aberystwyth to devils bridge where you can walk around the waterfalls. Stroll along the prom or take the cliff railway up constitution hill in aberystwyth.
For those that enjoy walking there are lots of stunning sections of coast path just a few minutes from the cottage as well as woodland walks and mountains to explore.
