About this house rental
You’ll love this sought after home, tree-lined street in historic Belmont with high ceilings, tall windows, fireplace, TV & surround sound, porch swing, fenced yard. Belmont House is a 5 minute walk to the downtown mall and free buses with great restaurants & nightlife. Enjoy free easy parking: take the free trolley to UVA, 7 minutes down historic main street. The owner has one cat, primarily outdoor, and furry friends welcome by arrangement (pet fee varies by size/no.). Two very comfortable, new single sleeper couches on the ground floor!
The space
Avon House is a beautiful, 1920s corner brick house with plenty of available parking. The house has been renovated throughout with new HVAC system, electrics and plumbing! The upstairs bathroom has a clawfoot tub and an enclosed steam shower spa with music! All bedrooms are spacious. Enjoy the 46" Apple tv room or swing away the evening with cocktails on the porch. Come and live it in this historic neighborhood rather than out of the way I29 hotel/motel land and traffic! Park your car for the duration of your stay!
Guest access
The guests are provided with a code to the front door off of the Belmont Ave entrance. There is a wide brick walkway from the street with very easy access up a few steps to the front door.

I have run a successful b&b in Bath, England for over 20 years and moved to Charlottesville where my daughter attended UVA.
