About this house rental
Perfectly situated 1 mile from Downtown, 2 miles from UVA and a short drive to the interstate for vineyard access, this home is the perfect fit for large families, weddings, bachelorette parties! With 2000+sq ft, 5 queen beds and a fenced-in backyard, there is plenty of room for all!
When you arrive you'll find your beds made and ready for you, along with all the necessary towels and toiletries laid out for you upon arrival. In addition, you will have access to a full kitchen, spices, and coffee essentials. There is parking in the driveway, and plenty of parking on the street in front of and beside the house.
Other things to note:
NO PARTIES: As a home in a residential neighborhood, we ask that only you and the listed guests spend time in our home during your stay. We also ask that noise levels be reigned in after 11:00 pm so as to maintain a high level of cordiality with our neighbors. You and your guests are more than welcome to celebrate as you see fit in the home, as long as it doesn't disrupt our neighbors or involve inviting lots of additional friends over!
BACHELORETTE PARTY RULES: While our above house policy states that there are no "parties" allowed, we're happy to welcome guests for a fun bachelorette weekend on a few simple conditions. Please do not invite additional guests beyond those who are staying in the house. We ask that you be respectful of the family-oriented neighborhood, being respectful of noise level, especially outdoors and at night. We ask that you respect the space and treat our home like your own. Beyond that, we're happy to accomodate bachelorette parties on request!
In other words, if you're looking for a fun girls' weekend visiting wineries and spas, and your group will be spending time together in our home together laughing, sipping champagne and opening presents, we hope you'll consider our home! But if you're planning on a large event with many outside guests, we'd ask that you look elsewhere.
CHECK-IN & CHECK OUT: We try to be flexible with check-in and check-out time on a case-by-case basis. Please message us, and we MAY be able to accommodate an earlier arrival or a later departure.
"DAMAGE" DEPOSIT: The security deposit is not authorized unless a claim is made for damage from a guest within a 7-day period after check-out. This serves as peace of mind for us, so we do not continually have to replace things between guests.
ALSO NOTE: We have a tenant who lives in our basement with a separate entrance. She and her dog are typically very quiet and respectful, but don’t be alarmed if you hear the occasional noise from downstairs!

Perfect spot and location to stay for a couple nights with larger family in Charlottesville. We would definitely rent this home again! Communication was great, very warm and friendly neighborhood.

Our girls trip for the Monticello wine tour was fantastic. Our stay at this home met all our needs for 8 women. The home location was convenient to restaurants and easy to get to. Beds were excellent with good pillows. We really loved the showers with strong water pressure. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped. Common areas accommodated large groups so we could all be together. There was a lovely space for relaxing on the outdoor deck. We really enjoyed our stay and loved the house.We would suggest having a working front porch light and mirrors in every bedroom.

Convenient location, comfy beds, and spacious living room.
Check-in snag (honest mistake, but potentially even more problematic with a day-later response from host) and dirty kitchen (even dirty dishes in the cabinets).
