About this cabin rental
Imagine waking up to peaceful, tree covered, waterfront views. Spend your day playing in the cool creek waters or hooking that big Rainbow Trout you've always dreamed about. Take a rest in the shady grass under a giant Mountain Magnolia while the sound of the rushing creek lulls you to sleep. When the sun sets behind the mountain, head to the fire pit for smores and great conversation. Or, challenge your loved ones to a game of horseshoes under the moonlight. Lost Pines Retreat sits on 5 acres and has over 200 Ft on the pristine, Elk Creek. It is the ideal vacation destination.!

Cabin was very clean, cozy and full of amenities. Host had a very quick response time. Check in was very simple. Property is beautiful and plenty of hikes/mountains within a half hour-an hour or so distance. Would definitely stay here again!

Great little place for a family stay at Thanksgiving! We did all our Thanksgiving cooking in the ample kitchen. And had plenty of room for our 2 families, one with a toddler. Always warm and cozy, and a beautiful setting with the creek running by in the back.The weather was mostly agreeable, with sunny but cold days, though too cold at night to use the outdoor fire pit. But it didn’t stop us from doing several local hikes with the dogs, and from using the hot tub on a daily basis. Convenient to Boone and Blowing Rock, both about a 20 minute scenic drive away following the Blue Ridge Parkway. But don’t follow the Apple or Google Maps suggested route - they attempt to take you through a private gated community!Overall, had a great time with family and we would return again without hesitating.

We really enjoyed our stay. The yard and stream were great for our granddaughter to play in. We will definitely stay here again!
