There is a convenient half bath on the main level as well. The lower level has two more bedrooms, full bath and a second living space with a second TV and a pull out sofa. The lower solarium has a ping pong table and a foosball table with huge doors that open up to the private 800 sq ft deck with a fire pit table and is surrounded by wildflowers in summer and snow in winter. The views are incredible from every level.
The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for family meals with dinnerware, glassware and basic seasonings including olive oil and balsamic vinegar. For cooking there are pots and pans and a gas stove, full sized refrigerator, microwave, large kitchen island with seating for six. The bistro area located just off the kitchen has four swivel chairs for additional seating between the kitchen and living rooms.
For added convenience, there is an on-site caretaker who is available for any questions you may have. Mark keeps the hummingbird feeders filled and the road plowed in winter. He lives in a lock off apartment above the garage.
(Note: our nightly rate is based on 4 guests with an additional charge of $25 pp for 5-10 guests. Mainly this is to allow smaller groups to not have to pay for the larger groups, particularly with regard to water, which we have to haul in).
There are two tiny homes located on this 30-acre property. One sits way up on the mountainside and the other is across the common lawn space, oriented toward Chicago Ridge, facing away from the Lodge. These are also list on VRBO by searching Red Cliff and clicking on Chicago Ridge Tiny Home and Mt of the Holy Cross tiny home.
