This Is It — This classic oceanfront cottage is quintessential vintage St. Simons Island.
This spot is perhaps one of the best on the island. Every sunrise is pure magic.

THE SPACE
The first floor is designed as a place for your family to enjoy one another and enjoy the beach and heated pool. The large living room and dining room provides ocean views from nearly every spot - back of the house is a wall of windows looking out over the Atlantic Ocean with views of the Sea Island.
King guest bedroom: Off the great room, there is a large guest room with attached bath with ocean front view and features a king bed, flat screen TV and en-suite bath. This room will accommodate up to 2 people.
The second floor features 3 bedrooms to accommodate up to 6 people.
Primary king guest bedroom: The master bedroom has an ocean front view and features a king bed, flat screen TV, en-suite bath with dual vanities and a walk-in shower.
King guest bedroom: The second room has an ocean front view and king bed. There's a big flat screen TV.
Twin guest bedroom: The third bedroom has a twin bed, big flat screen TV, and lots of natural light from floor to ceiling windows.
As you will note in our photos, the house backs up directly to the ocean and you can walk past one house to access the sand.
Ocean views are panoramic from inside the house, the sound of the ocean waves is so relaxing, and the aroma of salt air is unmistakable so close to the water's edge.
The ocean front pool is like no other option on St Simons. The ocean facing side has a sunning deck that hosts 4 beach chairs so you can enjoy the sun, views, and sounds of the water without leaving the back yard. There is also a large covered porch off the living room that provides shade while you enjoy all the views and ocean breezes. The pool can be heated for a $75/night fee. (see details)

Why Stay on East Beach:
The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.
Pets: This is not a pet friendly home.
Heated Pool: This property offers a heated pool option. The cost is $75/night+tax and can be added up to 48 hours before arrival. Let us know if you'd like to heat the pool!
No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.
Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.
No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

Well equipped and comfortable home. Located within 3-5 miles of restaurants and shopping - property as described in listing! Courteous and prompt communication with property management - We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to others looking for a casual and relaxing experience!

We found the interior of the house to be very comfortable and well-furnished (kitchen included). The views from each bedroom and the deck/pool area are outstanding for watching the tides change, and for the beautiful sunrises each morning. We had a couple of issues arise, but the Lighthouse team was easy to get in touch with and quick to respond. The upstairs AC went out on our last night, and they sent a repairman out within an hour to fix it, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. While not even close to a deal breaker, the deck area furnishings were a little sparse, it would be a nice touch to add additional seating and maybe a larger table so that meals could be enjoyed outside with a larger group. I would easily rate our stay as a 10 out of 10 for ease of check-in, location, quick response times from host, and price. We look forward to coming back again next year!

This is our favorite house on st Simon’s! Even when you are inside you feel like you are on the beach because of the incredible views from the entire house!
