Updated 2026 - kitchen and furniture updates! Few homes on the Island have views like Wolfe Cottage - with ocean views from the living room, patio, primary suite, and master patio you can watch the Atlantic Ocean, Gould's Inlet, and Sea Island beyond. Wolfe Cottage is an elegant 4-bedroom beach house with gorgeous ocean views, a relaxing private pool, billiards room, and plenty of space for you and your family to relax and enjoy each other on your trip to St. Simons.

THE SPACE
The house has an open floor plan with plenty of spaces to share or spread out - starting your day with coffee on the master patio and enjoying the ocean views. Then after a morning walk on the beach and a lunch on the covered patio directly off the chef's kitchen, enjoy the pool in the afternoon and the billiards room in the evening. We have a large family room and 3 patios to choose from for evening relaxing and conversation.
Bedrooms are configured as follows:
Primary Suite: King bed, ocean views, private patio with it's own ocean views, HDTV, and a master bathroom en suite with his & hers vanities and a separate garden tub and shower on the top floor.
Queen Room 1: Queen bed, ocean views, HDTV, and attached bathroom on the main floor.
Queen Room 2: Queen bed, ocean views, HDTV, and attached bathroom on the top floor.
Twin Room: 2 twin beds, attached bathroom on the top floor.
There is also a sleeper sofa that sleeps 2 in the living room.
The home also features an elevator that serves all levels.
There is plenty of parking including 2-car garage. The elevator is accessible from garage level.
Note, the pool can be heated for an additional fuel fee of $75/day - just let us know if you'd like the pool heated.

Why Stay on East Beach:
The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.
Pets: This home is dog friendly for dogs 25lbs or less with $250 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can't host puppies
Heated Pool: This property offers a heated pool option. The cost is $75/night+tax and can be added up to 48 hours before arrival. Let us know if you'd like to heat the pool!
Elevator: This property offers an elevator. As a residential elevator it is not guaranteed to be ADA compliant.
No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.
Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.
No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

We loved staying here with the great views of the ocean, easy to walk to the beach location. The pool was also great to have and the house was spacious. We'd stay here again in a second!

Wonderful trip. The property is dog friendly, small dogs only, which was a huge bonus. Steps away from the beach, which was dog friendly. House has everything we needed and plenty of space. Our kids enjoyed the pool table. We paid to have the pool heated, but they were missing a part so we couldn’t use it. We were refunded our money to heat the pool, but it was a bummer not to be able to use it as our kids were looking forward to having a private pool. Wonderful stay, we’d definitely go back.

This house was perfect. The pool was big enough for all 8 of us to swim at the same time. It was wonderful to have some beach chairs, pool toys, and pool towels included in the house.
We could see the beach from 2 of the 3 balconies. The kitchen had a huge, spacious island.
There were some interesting inlets for exploring and for catching crabs, which the kids enjoyed.
We rented a golf cart for the week and had fun cruising back and forth into the village area.
I'd love to go back again next year!

Rental house was not well cleaned, pool was not enclosed with a fence which is regulation, televisions were disabled (this was clarified by Comcast), and we were only supplied one key for our family. Will it rent again from Lighthouse Vacation Rentals.
