The Creosote Cottage| A Luxury Desert Escape

We had such a wonderful and peaceful stay at The Creosote Cottage. The location is removed from the hustle bustle of actual Joshua Tree, which we loved. The cottage has the best desert home vibes and truly has everything you need: all the cooking supplies, spices, coffee/tea, Q-tips, makeup towels, body wash/lotion, shampoo/ conditioner, games and puzzles, an AMAZING record player and choice of records, pool floaties, corn hole, LITERALLY EVERYTHING. It’s so essential at these removed oasis’s to have all the entertainment and necessities and this cottage did NOT miss. The bed was extremely comfortable and tons of towels for a longer stay. We didn’t use the washer dryer but it’s certainly a huge perk in the dusty desert. Check- in was such an easy and seamless process with clear directions from the email info. We felt extra safe with the alarm system and blinds for privacy. WiFi was super reliable if you’re planning to WFH here! My boyfriend and I enjoyed 2 nights and 3 days here and it could not have been a more perfect amount of time. There are so many special knick-knacks and special touches from the owners travels and an array of books to look through. Some things to note (which are so minor, my boyfriend and I aren’t fussy and this didn’t affect the stay at all but something to be aware of: the water pressure in the bathroom shower isn’t the best, and the bathroom sink didn’t seem to be working and only gave us hot water.
