The apartment is very big and comfortable, which felt nice for a remote work + stay. The location is residential but there’s a bunch of cafes and bars in the area and downtown isn’t too far either.
However, the doggy daycare downstairs gets loud at 7:30am and the dogs’ barking lasts the entire day. The house also smells a bit of the pets downstairs.
The house also has a dryer and washer but detergent wasn’t provided (even after asking), which made the utilities useless because I wasn’t going to buy detergent on a tourist trip.

I stayed here for two nights, and it was a wonderful location and stay. This unit is on the second floor, up some narrow stairs. Inside, it is quite spacious. And though there is no air conditioning, if you open up the windows, it gets nice and cool! The patio was a nice space as well, during the day you can watch the puppies in the doggy daycare below, and a neighbourhood cat! In the evening, it is beautiful and quiet. All in all, this place had everything that I needed for my short but memorable stay in Halifax.
