EROFILI Studios

Domaćini su bili jako ljubazni. Smeštaj je imao sve što nam je bilo potrebno. U blizini je parking i prodavnica.

The studio was compact, but everything you could want was provided. There was certainly everything needed to prepare breakfast and/or other, simple meals should you wish. (I didn't bother as I don't go to Crete to do my own cooking). There is a coffee shop and supernarket maybe 50 metres away. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom well appointed. The washng machine was a great addition, as it meant not having to travel overloaded with clothes. Air-conditioning was a bonus, although the studio does not receive too much direct sunlight, so it doesn't overheat. All in all it was a very good stay, at a very reasonable cost. I would be happy to return.

There was nothing not to like! I think this is a relatively new apartment (I was perhaps only the second guest?) The owner, who lives in the house above, has taken care to provide everything the traveller might need. I had the pleasure of sinking a few rakis with him and a few of his friends one afternoon, in the front garden and he is a very nice chap!. One word of caution, the studio is uphill from the beach. It's quite easy going down to the beach in the morning (about a 20 minute walk), but a long-ish uphill walk of around 30 minutes coming back. I actually enjoyed doing the walk, although once or twice, after a decent night out in town, I took a taxi home, which only cost around 7 Euro. Please don't let the walk put you off - it means the apartment is in a quiet area, parking is more easily available (if needed) and of course the exercise is good for you!
