Cozy caravan on small campsite near woods & sea

Der Aufenthalt in Belgien war sehr schön. Das Wohnmobilcamp ist sehr sauber und liegt nicht weit vom Strand entfernt. Auch De Haan und Brügge sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und das Personal freundlich sowie zuvorkommend. Bettwäsche Café Grundausstattung etc. muss man selbst mitbringen. Ansonsten ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht.

Etwas verwirrend war die Regelung bezüglich Hunden. Bei Booking stand, dass Hunde erlaubt sind. Als ich das Camp angeschrieben habe, wurde mir zwar gesagt, dass es okay sei, allerdings hieß es gleichzeitig, dass eigentlich keine Hunde bzw. nur kleine Hunde erlaubt sind. Außerdem sollte man wissen, dass eine Kaution von 100 € hinterlegt werden muss. Das finde ich grundsätzlich nicht schlimm, allerdings war mir das bei der Buchung vorher nicht bewusst.

Location, just ten minutes from the beach

Started with a E100 deposit for cleaning, then a E50 deposit for the barrier, all in cash and not explained when booking. You have to be there when reception is open which is 10-12am and 4-6pm. This meant changing my crossing and just about getting there on time. There is very little in the way of plates and bowls in the caravan, you have to take your own bedding and towels, also not mentioned at time of booking. Beds are uncomfortable, lights on outside all the time making it hard to sleep. The bathroom door and bedroom door do not close or lock. Wanted to use the launderette but there are no signs for how much the machines are. When we were leaving the staff turned up late and couldn't get into the reception building, she finally inspected the caravan to make sure we had cleaned it. By the time this was done we had left very late, had to cut our time short in Ghent because we were staying in montsen after this. Staff not particularly polite so was a disappointment all round. Would not go back and would definitely not recommend.
