Urban Flat 199 - Parisian 5 Bedroom Central Flat

L’appartement est très bien situé, nous avons fait la majorité des visites à pied .

Manque d’insonorisation, pas de rideaux occultants pour la nuit dans 2 chambres. Draps déchirés , une porte de douche cassée , une autre qui ne ferme pas correctement. Quelques finitions à revoir

Super séjour d’une nuit à Paris dans cet appartement spacieux et très bien situé. L’appartement est grand, confortable et parfaitement adapté pour un groupe ou une famille, avec de vraies chambres et des espaces communs agréables. Tout était propre, bien organisé et conforme à la description. L’emplacement est central, pratique pour se déplacer facilement dans Paris. Communication fluide avec Urban Flat, instructions claires et check-in sans souci.

Location was great, few blocks away from a lively street with lots of cafes, restaurants and convenience stores. 15-20 min walk to Louvre. Short 7 min walk to nearest RER station. Everything is new, SMEG appliances though we did not cook or use aside from the coffee machine. Once we were told where the AC controls were, everything was great. Good amount of space for our party of 7. On arrival, on of the assistants came to give us bottle of rose, cookies and coffee pods which was nice. Beds were comfy. Hosts were mostly responsive via WhatsApp which was nice.

Keys needed to be picked up and dropped off at another location, "4 min walk" which isn't great after a long flight or an early flight! This unit is on the first floor. No vents or fans in the bathrooms No windows in the bedrooms. There is a skylight in the kitchen which provides a lot of natural light. One bedroom also has a skylight which is great, but the sunrise (0400-0430 in summer) didn't help with jet lag. The single bed rooms are tiny, one is a loft above the other - we were unable to use the loft one. There is no ventilation up there so it was a bit musty (and my daughter didn't feel comfortable being up there). The flat configuration is a bit strange, but everything is new, so it was clean. No instructions were provided about the AC controls and that was really important as it was so hot when we were there. The door is tricky to open. You have to open w key from inside as well so it in an emergency it could be a problem to quickly exit. The assistant came to show us how to open and lock the door and even he had a problem. I asked about location of smoke alarms and someone was suppose to come and show me where they were located-- never did find out where. Also, you only get one set of keys. With a large party this could be an issue since we don't do everything together. Two of the bathrooms are tiny--I think this is common in Europe- but for an average person might be in issue in the showers. Towel refresh was 35 euros; for a stay of 5 nights and 7 people I thought it was strange to charge this, and was told "this is not a hotel". Plenty of toilet paper though! Wifi was also an issue. One of the urban flat assistants came to help, gave me 3 different wifi codes and the service was shotty and non existent in the further bedrooms. We took a chance on reserving this place with no reviews.
